Before tuning, Sidetrade scans the vehicle and checks its general health. Existing faults, mechanical concerns or unsuitable operating conditions need to be understood before software changes are considered.

What affects suitability
Vehicle model, engine and ECU type, current condition, modifications, load profile and intended use all matter. Availability and the appropriate approach are confirmed from the vehicle details; no result should be assumed before assessment.

Have a warning light or running fault?
Tuning is not a substitute for repairing an existing fault. Start with diesel diagnostics if the vehicle has warning lights, derates, poor running or an unresolved mechanical problem.
